Jeremy D. Safran, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology at the New School for Social Research, and Clinical Professor at the New York  Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis. He is former Director of Clinical Psychology at the New School, and Past-President of the International Association for Relational Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis (IARPP).  Dr. Safran is internationally recognized a clinician,  teacher of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, and psychotherapy researcher.
